“5 Stars for The Yorkshire hotel, couldn't fault anything with this hotel. In comparison to price to other "big box" hotels, the Yorkshire Hotel was excellent. Having previously stayed in Harrogate before, this hotel will be the first I go back to. Bar and restaurant service/food/drink was excellent . Breakfast was fantastic with quality service and food. ”

“Stayed here to celebrate an anniversary, we booked a room with a 4 poster in the hope that it would be better than a standard room. ……… I don’t believe it was ! The room had a small single glazed window so was quite dark. It was at the the back of the hotel and the view wasn’t pleasant. We were also woken at 6am bu the sound of breaking glass , the large bottle bins were being emptied !! ”

“Nice hotel with friendly staff. Shame about having to pay an extra £30 Parking for a two nights stay. No mention of the parking on booking. Room a nice standard similar to a *** or *** hotel. Good location for seeing Harrogate. Would stay at the hotel again although there are so many options in the town we might be swayed!”

“Took my mother for Mother’s Day stay. Location was excellent. Bedroom large & comfortable. The hotel is in a stunning building but some upkeep regards painting would be beneficial. ”

“Late booking so over the moon re room and facilities. Though annoyed about a couple of factors: When we went for the lift it was out of order to the 5th floor, so you had to get off the working lift on the 4th floor and walk up a flight of stairs to the 5th? No member of staff asked if that would have been a problem and they obviously presumed it was fine. Secondly we went to the in house bar and grill, which to be fair wasn’t very good. Firstly they didn’t bring all the drinks we ordered, the rice and curry was quite cold and then they attempted to put on their 12.5% Service Charge which was in the smallest print at the bottom of the menu after already adding VAT, all in all that would’ve cost me and extra £18 to my bill 😡 This is not abroad, if the service and meal is enjoyable they will get a tip which I will decide on.”

“If you’re looking for cheap accommodation central to Harrogate it does what it needs to. Just don’t take room 356, smell of adhesive from the carpet which was fine with windows open, it’s clean but really aged and took 10 minutes to get hot water. Staff were generally great at check in. The receptionist when I checked out needs some customer service training (she may even have been a manager). A goodbye or did you enjoy your stay would have been appreciated. I won’t stay here again but if you need a cheap stay this would do. Just and no more, it has great parking and the bed was really comfortable!”
