“Took my mother for Mother’s Day stay. Location was excellent. Bedroom large & comfortable. The hotel is in a stunning building but some upkeep regards painting would be beneficial. ”

“Nice hotel with friendly staff. Shame about having to pay an extra £30 Parking for a two nights stay. No mention of the parking on booking. Room a nice standard similar to a *** or *** hotel. Good location for seeing Harrogate. Would stay at the hotel again although there are so many options in the town we might be swayed!”

“We booked 2 rooms, one was absolutely fine but the other room we requested a twin as 2 teenagers. When we checked in they said they hadn’t received that request, however they managed to make it work and gave us a room where the beds could be made into twin beds. All good! But the aircon didn’t work, which they must have known when they gave us the room as the aircon unit was open and being attended to. Nothing was said about the broken aircon, she said it was being serviced and they hadn’t closed it properly. We unpacked and tried to get the aircon to work, obviously it wasn’t going to. There was a very small fan in the wardrobe, which we plugged into try and cool the room down. I told the receptionist and she said that the aircon didn’t work in that room but there was a Dyson fan, there wasn’t a Dyson fan! Thankfully she did manage to find one but it did very little to cool down the room on probably the hottest day of the year. The next morning their room was sweltering even with all the windows open. To top it off on our last day their room didn’t have any hot water either! It was a pity as our room was nice, breakfast was great and the restaurant manager is a delight. ”
