“I do love how nice the staffs were and breakfast but the hotel is so old , wasn’t same as the picture ”

“For £50 per night. It was definitely worth the stay, the bed is comfy and the sheets were clean. This is in the perfect location, only 10 minute walk from the beach and 15-20 from the town. However, the room wasnt “clean” it had the obvious done, the sheets were changed, we had fresh cups waiting for us to make our own tea/ coffee but the room very obviously was not actually cleaned. There was a strangely large brown substance on the curtain which once mentioned, was cleaned immediately for when we got back to our room; but this wasnt the only thing i had spotted, the bathroom especially wasnt the best, the bathtub was brown stained, the floor hadnt been swept/ hoovered and there was a yellow stain on the floor next to the toilet. But. These didnt ruin the stay. Besides it not being the cleanist place we could stay. For one night it was perfect, cheap and in a really good spot. I think the stay is totally worth it. I hope the hotel improve on housekeeping. Theres some real potential here and every other aspect was amazing”

“Room is very basic, one electric socket not working, tv very small. Hotel rooms need updating. Staff excellent and very helpful. Good location for visiting Bournemouth town centre. Would recommend for a short stay for someone who wants to visit Bournemouth and the surrounding area. ”

“I have stayed at this hotel about 6 times in the last 2 years. As long as you aware of pros and cons it is not bad. Pros: Live Music some nights of the week Very close to Pier and beach Cons: Extra Charges for everything 7 pounds a day for internet for each device Check out is very early at 10am. If you want a late check out for even 1 hr past 10am it is an extra 15 pounds. The furniture in the bedrooms needs replacing however the bathrooms are remodeled. One 2 occasions in March 2024 I booked a standard double room with a city view and I was given a room in the basement. There was a window but it looked out to a wall and certainly no city view. On one occasion in 2023 I paid for an upgrade on arrival and had a lovely large room but as it was on the top floor when it rained it water came through the ceiling. On another occasion in 2024 the heating did not work in the room. Even after complaining to reception 3 times, nobody did anything. I was just told they are very busy! ”
