“I do love how nice the staffs were and breakfast but the hotel is so old , wasn’t same as the picture ”

“Lovely location with only a 10 minute walk to the beachfront, great for families, friendly staff. Only down is Parking is a little bit pricy at £15 a night which can add up if you are there a few nights. ”

“I have stayed at this hotel about 6 times in the last 2 years. As long as you aware of pros and cons it is not bad. Pros: Live Music some nights of the week Very close to Pier and beach Cons: Extra Charges for everything 7 pounds a day for internet for each device Check out is very early at 10am. If you want a late check out for even 1 hr past 10am it is an extra 15 pounds. The furniture in the bedrooms needs replacing however the bathrooms are remodeled. One 2 occasions in March 2024 I booked a standard double room with a city view and I was given a room in the basement. There was a window but it looked out to a wall and certainly no city view. On one occasion in 2023 I paid for an upgrade on arrival and had a lovely large room but as it was on the top floor when it rained it water came through the ceiling. On another occasion in 2024 the heating did not work in the room. Even after complaining to reception 3 times, nobody did anything. I was just told they are very busy! ”

“The hotel is a budget hotel and it is clean and well run. they charge £5 parking from 15.00 hours per day additionally which was a bit disappointing. I slept well and the room was comfortable enough, however it could do with a small fridge during the hot summers. It is fairly close to the coast ,but not with sea views. Overall a decent value for money and friendly staff. Breakfast £10.50 per person, buffet style. ”

“Been staying at this hotel on and off for 70 years, staying for summer holidays. Great hotel now it's been refurbished. Only minor complaint, the bath plug hole was full of black hair!”
