For £50 per night. It was definitely worth the stay, the bed is comfy and the sheets were clean. This is in the perfect location, only 10 minute walk from the beach and 15-20 from the town. However, the room wasnt “clean” it had the obvious done, the sheets were changed, we had fresh cups waiting for us to make our own tea/ coffee but the room very obviously was not actually cleaned. There was a strangely large brown substance on the curtain which once mentioned, was cleaned immediately for when we got back to our room; but this wasnt the only thing i had spotted, the bathroom especially wasnt the best, the bathtub was brown stained, the floor hadnt been swept/ hoovered and there was a yellow stain on the floor next to the toilet. But. These didnt ruin the stay. Besides it not being the cleanist place we could stay. For one night it was perfect, cheap and in a really good spot. I think the stay is totally worth it. I hope the hotel improve on housekeeping. Theres some real potential here and every other aspect was amazing

Our three nights stay was pleasant thanks to the friendly staff but not comfortable as the room has no aircon and far too hot! We had to use the two fans supplied throughout the night but still struggled to get to sleep. It should never be like that given the ambient temperature is not even 25C yet. We also tried to keep the windows opened but the traffic noise from the main road was too loud. Don’t really want to give a negative review but we never experienced something like this before - maybe just bad luck. Hope the hotel can do something about it than getting another unsatisfactory customer

We exchanged some Buy a Gift vouchers for a 3 course meal for one day and a spa day with afternoon tea the following day (my birthday!) at this hotel. We booked an overnight stay in between with breakfast and had a lovely time. Service was a little slow waiting for the meal, but food was delicious. Room was spacious with a great, huge bed! Kept curtains closed to keep the heat out but we weren't missing a view ... Just the roof and a bit of the car park. Only thing I didnt like was the dodgy sliding door to the bathroom. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and lovely very hot coffee from the machines. Staff also seemed a little friendlier at this time..! Didn't have a problem with any staff, just some seemed a little happier to be there than others. Spa was very nice with friendly and helpful staff members, great sense of humour from the guy who had to come to the pool when I accidently pressed the panic alarm! Lovely relaxing time for my special birthday treat. Would visit again 🙂

The hotel is very nice and clean, this goes for the room as well. We enjoyed our stay. However, we were extremely to find out that hotel guests did not have complimentary use of the spa facilities! This is the first hotel we have stayed in that charges guests (can't remember if it was £20 each or per couple). I emailed the hotel explaining how disappointed I was and if the Manager could respond to my email. To date no response! Another disappointment! We will certainly not be staying at this hotel again. If you are thinking of staying here check all the small print for hidden extras.

I attended from France and decided to walk to the hotel until I realised it was a steep climb and it was judicious to go by taxi. Staff were helpful and courteous and the room was clean and spacious. The evening was a success and I would certainly recommend the hotel for functions. However for the solo traveller it was quite expensive.
