“Great value, Victoria very helpful and friendly on arrival. Kate in morning only interested one out of the room..two phonecalls; I literally existed the room at noon, as required. She didn't bother to ask if I had a nice stay.... Room really lovely, great bathroom. Would stay again”

“We stayed in the hotel for just one night and it served our needs extremely well. We had an early reservation in a nearby restaurant which we could walk to and from which was super. We had a couple of drinks in the bar when we got back which was nice and quiet. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as we were going to meet friends in Tramore for same. All in all a successful trip and hotel was perfect. Our only criticism was the car park which was full, not affording us a place to park. We did however get street part right opposite.”

“The lady who runs the B&B is a very nice woman. The room was nice and clean. The wooden flooring was shiney, the bed was super comfortable and the ensuite was grand. There was a kettle with Barry's tea and Nescafe coffee sachet & TV. Breakfast was fine there was a selection of cereals, some fruit and yoghurt. Tea and orange juice. The only tiny quirk was that I had come from a sports event so needed to shower and the dispensers in my bathroom didn't have bathing gel but that's okay as I brought my own shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel. Loved the B&B and would happily stay again and it was very cosy.”

“If you are looking for honest value for money Treacy's is a sound choice. OK everything is not the best but then you are not wanting to pay for the best. The buffet breakfast is only €10 and is as good as any. All the staff are friendly and helpful. My room was a little chilly, I made one mention to the receptionist in the morning and when I returned it was snug and cosy. Yes traffic stops at the lights outside so until late in the evening front facing rooms can be noisy. I had a room on the first floor at the front adjacent to the lights. A €1 set of earplugs gave me a good nights sleep. If you are an experienced traveller and self reliant book here, if you are looking to be cosseted go elsewhere and pay the extra.”
