“We’ve been here 4 times now. The location is so peaceful. Sitting outside on the patio in the evening is relaxing with a lovely view over the fields.. The room is clean and has everything you need. We are always welcomed by the host, Menna, and made very welcome.”

“Just returned from a family getaway . This hotel is ideally located in a quiet town with a park opposite to entertain children and a local shop to stock up on snacks if needed. Lovely grounds and the hotel breakfast is delicious. We had a double room as there were no family rooms available on booking and I asked to put a put up bed in the room which was set up ready when we arrived. My 6 year old loved it there was plenty of room in the room and it was ideal for her. My only feedback would be the evening menu is more let’s say posh food - fine if that’s what your looking for but very limited however there are plenty of nice pubs in the village . The hotel is a great base for exploring nearby villages and towns such as Wrexham and Chester with the bus stop just outside the hotel. ”

“We liked the welcome and friendliness of all the staff we met. Both rooms were en-suite and comfortable. If we stay in the future I would ask for a room at the rear to avoid road noise. Pleasant evening meal and very good breakfasts on both mornings.”

“We had a positive experience here and it's not the first time. Staff are helpful, sky tv in the room is great and the breakfast is good. Food is average for the price and bar snacks and soft drinks very expensive, to be expected somewhat perhaps. Will be going again ”
