Just returned from a family getaway . This hotel is ideally located in a quiet town with a park opposite to entertain children and a local shop to stock up on snacks if needed. Lovely grounds and the hotel breakfast is delicious. We had a double room as there were no family rooms available on booking and I asked to put a put up bed in the room which was set up ready when we arrived. My 6 year old loved it there was plenty of room in the room and it was ideal for her. My only feedback would be the evening menu is more let’s say posh food - fine if that’s what your looking for but very limited however there are plenty of nice pubs in the village . The hotel is a great base for exploring nearby villages and towns such as Wrexham and Chester with the bus stop just outside the hotel.

Good hotel, Friendly staff.
Could be a great hotel with a bit more attention to detail. Love this hotel, but attention to detail has appeared to have slipped since the last time we stayed. Trays and cloths for cleaning tables left on the banister in plain sight. Excess cutlery not taken away. Not enough to stop us stopping again as might just be a staff training need.

Everything was perfect ,room was nice and clean ,only let down was rude staff in the morning after checkout ,family was still gathered outside having a chat and a drink ,before we left ,staff stood around talking about us ,one member came out placed a notice on the door saying private function and closed the door ,made to feel very unwelcome. Could of been handled differently ,as we were all saying our goodbyes to family members 😔, was a very rude goodbye to us .

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff. The only disappointment was breakfast - that was rather poor.

Night away
Had a pleasant stay at Rossett Hall. It's an old building but the rooms were spotless and the staff friendly. There's not much in Rossett but the two pubs - The Golden Lion (delicious food and great atmosphere) and the Alyn - were both lovely and welcoming. Wrexham is only a short bus or taxi ride away but we were only there for the night so didn't bother.
