“Very pleasant stay in a double room. Shower was excellent, breakfast was great too. The bed is a double not a king and very soft. We actually preferred the firmer king bed in the travelodge the previous night but thats personal taste. The surroundings were, of course, much more salubrious and the hotel is right in town.”

“Treated my wife to a night away and living in Sheffield decided Hathersage would be nice. I've been going to the Scotsmans Pack since the late 80s but never stayed there. Our room was great, bed really comfy and the staff were great both on the evening when the bar was really busy and in the morning during breakfast. We visited other pubs and a curry house on the Friday before returning to the Scotsmans Pack for a few more drinks. There was a great acoustic band on. This was ideal in that the music wasn't too loud to make conversation inaudible! Great song choices too!! After breakfast we walked up to the pretty church before returning home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Felt really tajen care of by the warm, friendly staff. Great food and nothing too much trouble. ”

“Hotel was good clean and modern with a good on site restaurant. Only downside was it’s right on the road and the windows did not stop the road noise which did wake me up a little early. All in all I was happy ”
