“Hotel was good clean and modern with a good on site restaurant. Only downside was it’s right on the road and the windows did not stop the road noise which did wake me up a little early. All in all I was happy ”

“A lovely old pub in the heart of the Peak District. The food is exceptional and reasonably priced. Our room however had no view whatsoever with just velux windows in the ceiling and was very expensive at £166 for one night (including breakfast), although it was a Bank Holiday Monday. Next time we’d eat at The Barrel but stay at a cheaper hostelry nearby.”
