“Hey there! We had such a fantastic time staying at this hotel! Its location is just amazing – you can easily walk to all the cool local shops, restaurants, the hop-on-hop-off bus stop, those awesome nearby caverns, and so many other great spots. Plus, the staff were super friendly and really helpful with everything we needed. We totally loved it!”

“A lovely old pub in the heart of the Peak District. The food is exceptional and reasonably priced. Our room however had no view whatsoever with just velux windows in the ceiling and was very expensive at £166 for one night (including breakfast), although it was a Bank Holiday Monday. Next time we’d eat at The Barrel but stay at a cheaper hostelry nearby.”

“Stayed for 1 night to save me driving home after a cave cinema thing at Peak Cavern. I'm sure it was only like 50 quid or something, and they upgraded me from the single I booked to a double for free. They said the single is very small. It was really cosy tho. Low beamed ceilings in the pub part. With friendly staff. When I went it was pretty busy from the moment I checked in, to getting back in evening for the pub quiz there with a friend b4 she had to leave. Was great though. It just feels very British. And the breakfast was great too. Just around the corner from the main centre too. Would stay again without a question ”

“Treated my wife to a night away and living in Sheffield decided Hathersage would be nice. I've been going to the Scotsmans Pack since the late 80s but never stayed there. Our room was great, bed really comfy and the staff were great both on the evening when the bar was really busy and in the morning during breakfast. We visited other pubs and a curry house on the Friday before returning to the Scotsmans Pack for a few more drinks. There was a great acoustic band on. This was ideal in that the music wasn't too loud to make conversation inaudible! Great song choices too!! After breakfast we walked up to the pretty church before returning home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
