“Good location and super setting. Room was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner was tasty pub food to fuel walking. Excellent breakfast.”

“Treated my wife to a night away and living in Sheffield decided Hathersage would be nice. I've been going to the Scotsmans Pack since the late 80s but never stayed there. Our room was great, bed really comfy and the staff were great both on the evening when the bar was really busy and in the morning during breakfast. We visited other pubs and a curry house on the Friday before returning to the Scotsmans Pack for a few more drinks. There was a great acoustic band on. This was ideal in that the music wasn't too loud to make conversation inaudible! Great song choices too!! After breakfast we walked up to the pretty church before returning home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Highly recommended to stay here. Room was clean and great view from the room. Good location for hiking to Cave Dale. ”
