“We enjoyed our stay, the facilities are good, although having to go outside to get to the spa is a little inconvenient. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The restaurant is over priced but the buffet breakfast is great. ”

“The hotel was like going back in time to the 80s, with facilities seriously dated! The floor is covered with, what looks like rugs, not carpets. On walking on it the surface under the rug feels like it's so damaged that it's no longer fixable. The parking has no marked parking bays, so of course many park over 2 bays. There's hotel entertainment that caters for slightly older audience very well I would say. I saw food on people's plate and decided to go elsewhere, as it was looking unappealing - didn't taste it though, so in all fairness it Coukd have been 5 stars. The springs in the mattress were such that it made my feel I sank into the bed. I preffer a firm mattress, so that may be just me. Shower cabin so small that mate it difficult to wash myself - I'm 6 foot tall and weigh around 110kg, so again it may be me. The shower cabin not closing properly. Will nit be staying again. ”

“This hotel was amazing. The only thing that let it down is the windows do not open and the heating/aircon was difficult to work. The menu was a bit limited and small portions were not available. However, I loved my room and the staff were really helpful.”

“Although the room had 2 double glassed windows it was still quite noisy …outer glazing did not seal. Room 8 Basic room no frills but perfect for one night ”

“I got a very good price for 3 nights through Agoda at the Craighaar. So the value for money aspect of our stay was excellent. The staff we had contact with were both friendly, and efficient. The hotel itself was clean, nicely decorated and with a carpark adequate for the number of guests staying. The dining room was comfortable with a conservatory area that was really nice to sit in. The breakfast we had was one of the best I've had in any hotel. We didn't have dinner in the hotel though. So I can't comment on that. The room we had was on the small side and if you're used to a king sized bed the small double we had will seem cramped. The bedding was clean and there were plenty of clean towels. The room itself overall was clean and tidy. As was the bathroom apart from one thing. The toilet had a stain inside the bowl, I don't think I need to say what it was. So the bathroom had likely not been cleaned properly between guests. It was an odd thing to miss. That aside though we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. ”

“We managed to get 2 king rooms side by side, was clean and comfortable.”

“I was rebooked to the Station Hotel, but the service provided by staff was efficient and effective.”
