“Booked this for my son's tournament in Grand Forks. Good location, friendly staff & got upgraded to poolside! Pool was nice, water was warm, and continental breakfast was pretty good selection. The room itself could use an upgrade- but poolside view was nice. There was a bar too! ”

“The room was spacious and had a mini fridge and microwave. There was a decent sized flat screen TV. The bed was decently comfortable, The bath tub and carpet in the room was in need of a good cleaning. The decor was definitely dated and the walls were pretty thin so you could hear a lot of noise from outside the room. The breakfast was typical continental breakfast with a waffle maker. Not bad but not great. It was about what I expected for the price. Not disappointing but not pleasantly surprised either.”

“Found myself stuck at the Canadian border and had to spend a few nights here. I was very weary and skeptical at 1st glance but I had read decent reviews. I stayed in the main building and there is 3. The 1st female clerk was very friendly and even helped carry my bags to my room. The 2nd female clerk the next day demanded I move my vehicle even though the 1st lady told me I could park there. Breakfast was provided but not many options, juice, coffee, fruit, cereal, and waffles but batter was not good. Room was clean, curtains were thin and ac unit blew them open everytime it turned on. Full size refrigerator in room and microwave very nice addition I must say. Microwave had previous occupants leftover trash in it. Motel is centrally located with easy access to freeway. Main exit to city is 2 exits down where all the restaurants and stores are. Shower water was hot, tub needed some resurfacing and sink area too, peeling paint, some rust. Bed was comfortable but pillows were trash very thin, no head support. On-site laundry was closed due to broken washer so I guess its just 1 and I had to wash elsewhere. Drink vending machine took credit and snack one only took coins. ”

“Old and dirty . The staff are not friendly at all. WIll not go there again. ”

“Hotel is in a good location if you are attending an event at Alerus or the University. Close to 29 as well as shopping/eating establishments. Only issue I encountered was that I couldn't seem to get my room warmed up above 68.”

“We have stayed at this Expressway location several times over a few years. We’ve always found it to be clean and the included breakfast options are very good. Friendly and helpful staff!”
