StayInn Grand Forks

Found myself stuck at the Canadian border and had to spend a few nights here. I was very weary and skeptical at 1st glance but I had read decent reviews. I stayed in the main building and there is 3. The 1st female clerk was very friendly and even helped carry my bags to my room. The 2nd female clerk the next day demanded I move my vehicle even though the 1st lady told me I could park there. Breakfast was provided but not many options, juice, coffee, fruit, cereal, and waffles but batter was not good. Room was clean, curtains were thin and ac unit blew them open everytime it turned on. Full size refrigerator in room and microwave very nice addition I must say. Microwave had previous occupants leftover trash in it. Motel is centrally located with easy access to freeway. Main exit to city is 2 exits down where all the restaurants and stores are. Shower water was hot, tub needed some resurfacing and sink area too, peeling paint, some rust. Bed was comfortable but pillows were trash very thin, no head support. On-site laundry was closed due to broken washer so I guess its just 1 and I had to wash elsewhere. Drink vending machine took credit and snack one only took coins.
