First, thank you for the complimentary upgrade; I genuinely appreciate it. However, the maintenance of the property must meet higher standards to ensure a better experience for all guests. I strongly believe that offering a buffet breakfast would significantly enhance convenience for visitors. Even if the number of guests is low, the continental set menu should have more variety. The limited options we encountered were disappointing, and some items were simply unavailable. Moreover, as Sri Lankans, we felt it was inappropriate for the staff to treat us differently. All guests should receive equal attention, regardless of their background. It was disheartening that no one acknowledged us with a simple "Good Morning" upon entering the restaurant, and the lack of smiles from the staff left us feeling unwelcome. It was clear that their focus was exclusively on a foreign couple in the corner, while our needs were overlooked. It's crucial that your team engages with all guests and seeks feedback during meals, rather than appearing indifferent. If this pattern continues, I foresee more reviews highlighting these issues. I hope you can address these concerns seriously—there's potential here, but it requires improvement. Thank you.”

“While this is a very well located resort on Pasikudah beach with direct beach access and great food in the restaurants, I think the rooms in general need an upgrade and the hotel could do with a lot more greenery. There is scant tree cover and this makes the sand very hot in the day. Further the lack of any canopy along the walkways makes the walk in peak heat, borderline unbearable. They should also keep an air conditioned dining option. The restaurant on the beach is excellent for an evening dinner. ”

“The hotel was located nicely location near Pasikuda beach, but as we ordered deluxe room and was mentioned partial ocean view. But we got a non ocean view room. When I inquired about that as I booked a deluxe room that’s the only thing that shows in the booking and they don’t have deluxe room with ocean view as all deluxe room located in the first floor. Food we only had breakfast, less variety, and omlet had egg shells and no taste at all,5/10. Otherwise staff is friendly and helpful. When you booking just remember to book a içen view room not the deluxe room.”

The resort provides all the basic facilities you’d expect, and the staff were consistently friendly and hospitable, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The food is mainly catered to Sri Lankan guests, so it was a bit spicy for our taste, but that’s understandable given the clientele. Fortunately, there are other restaurants in nearby resorts if you’re looking for a wider variety of options. Overall, for the price we paid, this was the best option available. We’re really happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly beachfront escape in Sri Lanka. ”
