The location is absolutely perfect, right on a beautiful and serene beach – ideal for anyone looking to relax by the sea. The beach-facing rooms offer the best value for money and made our experience truly memorable. The resort provides all the basic facilities you’d expect, and the staff were consistently friendly and hospitable, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The food is mainly catered to Sri Lankan guests, so it was a bit spicy for our taste, but that’s understandable given the clientele. Fortunately, there are other restaurants in nearby resorts if you’re looking for a wider variety of options. Overall, for the price we paid, this was the best option available. We’re really happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly beachfront escape in Sri Lanka. ”

First, thank you for the complimentary upgrade; I genuinely appreciate it. However, the maintenance of the property must meet higher standards to ensure a better experience for all guests. I strongly believe that offering a buffet breakfast would significantly enhance convenience for visitors. Even if the number of guests is low, the continental set menu should have more variety. The limited options we encountered were disappointing, and some items were simply unavailable. Moreover, as Sri Lankans, we felt it was inappropriate for the staff to treat us differently. All guests should receive equal attention, regardless of their background. It was disheartening that no one acknowledged us with a simple "Good Morning" upon entering the restaurant, and the lack of smiles from the staff left us feeling unwelcome. It was clear that their focus was exclusively on a foreign couple in the corner, while our needs were overlooked. It's crucial that your team engages with all guests and seeks feedback during meals, rather than appearing indifferent. If this pattern continues, I foresee more reviews highlighting these issues. I hope you can address these concerns seriously—there's potential here, but it requires improvement. Thank you.”

“While this is a very well located resort on Pasikudah beach with direct beach access and great food in the restaurants, I think the rooms in general need an upgrade and the hotel could do with a lot more greenery. There is scant tree cover and this makes the sand very hot in the day. Further the lack of any canopy along the walkways makes the walk in peak heat, borderline unbearable. They should also keep an air conditioned dining option. The restaurant on the beach is excellent for an evening dinner. ”

“This hotel has an excellent location and, with the right management, could easily compete with many high-end properties. In fact, it feels like the owners are sitting on a hidden gem but are not giving it the attention it deserves. With proper investment and care, this property could become a truly outstanding luxury boutique hotel. During our stay, we appeared to be the only guests in the entire hotel, while neighboring hotels along the same stretch were fully occupied. There were only around six or seven staff members on duty, all of whom seemed to be handling multiple roles. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, but it was clear they were working with limited resources. Unfortunately, the property itself showed signs of neglect. Our room had several maintenance issues, including electrical problems, a faulty ceiling fan, and a leaking bathtub. The balcony railings were damaged and unstable, creating a potential safety concern. There was also no poolside assistance or even basic amenities such as towels available by the pool. The biggest disappointment was the food. Meals were served as a fixed menu, yet there was no menu card provided. Guests were simply offered a single predetermined four-course meal, which was of poor quality and lacked variety. The dining experience fell well below expectations. Overall, the hotel has tremendous potential, but significant improvements in management, maintenance, and food quality are needed before it can deliver the experience that its location and setting deserve.”
