“April 5th to 7th 2025 My friend couple and I reserved two double rooms. Very close to Nallur Kovil. It's quite a new hotel and ultra clean rooms and premises. However, no restaurant but the guests can order food from a nearby restaurant which the hotel has the me.nu. Very friendly staff. If you need a buffet can go to Valampuri hotel. ”

“Our stay at the Jetwing Jaffna was quite nice. The best parts about the hotel are the staff, the food and the Happy Hour cocktails. The service in the beautiful roof top bar was very slow at times, but they made up for it with delicious, inventive cocktails. The breakfast buffet and the Jaffna Night buffet dinner were exceptionally good. The location was very convenient for getting around Jaffna, walking, tuk-tuks, taxis, and public transportation (busses). The downside are the lack of facilities- no pool, no workout facilities, no spa services. The rooms are well-equipped, but the bathrooms are very small. The friendly staff made up for any shortcomings of the facilities, and we would happily stay here again. ”

“In comparison to the other hotels in Jaffna, I will recommend Northgate hotel to anyone. Beside the rooms are quite spacious and clean. We had our breakfast and lunch on 2 days and found the food very tasty and quite a variety to choose from. Special call out to the 2 guys at the reception desk as I found them to be very courteous, hospitable and friendly. Recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in Jaffna. ”

“We stayed t this hotel for 2 nighs. Travelled from Colombo to Jaffna by Inter City Train and walked to this hotel from the Station. It was raining very heavility in Jaffna when we went. The Valampuri Restaurnt is next door and we found the Breakfst Extra Ordinary. There was a hoppers station, there were variety of food and enjoyed the breakfast. We also had dinner at the same place and they did not let us have the Buffet, so we had to order an 'A' la Carte' Menu, which was not bad. We heard that Green Grass and Valampuri are one and the same. We had to catch the Inter City Train in the morning and it was raining so heavily. The young boy who was at the Reception was very happy to escort us to the railway staion at 5AM and help us to carry some of the luggage. Bathroom did not have any hot water. Found that the bathroom was not super clean. ”
