“영어: 이 건물은 아름답고 위치는 완벽합니다. 그러나 서비스는 많은 개선이 필요합니다. 체크인 전에 보안을 통과하기 위해 제 가방을 직접 가져가야 했습니다. 보안은 미리 처리하지 않습니다. 다른 문을 통해야 합니다. 저는 직접 하는 것을 기쁘게 생각하지만, 어떻게 해야 하는지에 대한 지침/방향은 없었습니다. 제가 가서 보안을 통과해야 한다는 것만 있었습니다. 엑스레이를 찍을 때 그 사람은 아무 이유 없이 저를 기다리게 했습니다. 그런 다음 레스토랑에서 테이블을 예약하는 데 실수가 있었습니다. 리셉션은 전화해서 알려줄 것이라고 말했지만 45분을 기다린 후에도 아무런 응답이 없었습니다. 다시 확인해보니 내려갈 수 있다고 했습니다. 레스토랑에 가서 주방이 닫히고 있으므로 바로 주문해야 한다고 들었습니다. 결정할 시간을 더 달라고 요청했고 그렇게 했지만 음식이 너무 늦게 나왔습니다. 주방이 이미 닫혔기 때문에 무엇이든 원한다면 바로 주문하라고 고집했습니다. 하지만 그들은 나를 따라와서 주문을 받는 사람들에 대해서는 아무런 문제가 없는 듯했습니다. 위치는 아름답고 헬스장은 좋습니다. ”

“직원들이 친절했습니다. 수프 씨, 네시스 씨 등 모든 좌석이 예약되어 있음에도 불구하고 새해 파티 좌석을 마련해 주시는 데 도움을 주셨습니다. 이른 체크인이었고 음식도 맛있었습니다. 하우스키핑도 좋았습니다.”

“This hotel is a little tired in places but offered great value when I booked. The room was large, with king bed, sofa, desk and a large bathroom. The bathroom could do with a bit of a renovation but the shower was huge with amazing views. Bed and linen were comfortable and my room had a great view over the ocean. Room service breakfast was prompt, reasonable priced and quite hot. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I arrived very late at night. The pool area could do with a few more loungers but the pool has great views and was very refreshing. The rooftop bar was great, although closed one night for a private event but the ground floor bar was interesting. My only minor issues were: * the room was not cleaned when I went out, even though I had the sign turned on. One day I had to ask for it to be cleaned, but had been in until quite late. The next they came at about 5 pm. * the tv kept turning itself off. I assume it thought I was not watching any more. Too smart. * when I was leaving I asked front desk to call me a taxi to the airport. They offered the hotel taxi, but at 55 usd I preferred a normal taxi but they could not call one for some reason. I ordered an Uber. There is a small shopping center close by but it seemed to be selling mainly electronics. There was an ATM there. ”

“Taj Samudra truly lives up to the Taj standard of hospitality. Despite a minor observation regarding a black spot on the sink, the team responded with remarkable courtesy and made sincere efforts to upgrade us — a gesture that speaks volumes about their service mindset. The Club Room on the 6th floor is exceptional, offering stunning sea views with a perfectly placed sofa by the window, making it the best room choice in the hotel. The flexibility of a late checkout was greatly appreciated and added comfort to our stay. A special mention to Mr. Ashley and Mr. Chaminda Dehiwatte, who were extremely supportive and accommodating — from seamlessly swapping our half-board dinner to lunch at Golden Dragon, to extending a spa discount. Mr. Ashley also introduced us to Mr. Karan Maini, Hotel Manager, IHCL, whose gracious approval of a late checkout truly added the cherry on top. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sri Lanka, and the hospitality at Taj Samudra played a significant role in making our stay memorable. A wonderful hotel with an equally wonderful team.”

“staffs are friendly and helpful, give useful tips about traveling around sri lanka. room is simple yet compact, nothing fancy but it's clean and facilities all work fine. location is not too far from city center. so if you need just a place for transit purpose, it's a good place value for money”
