“I can strongly recommend Ichimaru Ryokan. They accepted my reservation at very short notice but welcomed me kindly, showed me around and explained essentials such as the bath protocol. The room was very clean and the futon comfortable. I needed to leave early, so they provided me with a delicious take-away meal instead of breakfast, and even drove me to the trailhead several kilometers away where I was to start my hike. ”
