“This was a hotel I had been dying to visit, and it didn't disappoint. Nestled right between a lake and mountains, it’s a truly relaxing getaway. It’s the perfect place to do absolutely nothing except zone out in the garden and café . I also loved the outdoor hot spring and the walking path along the lake. I left feeling completely recharged!”

“A nice base to travel to Hirosaki/ Lake Towada (1 hour away by car). The temperature at Kosaka is nice and chilly during the summer; a welcome escape from the heat in neighboring cities. Has some really nice waterfalls around the area as well. If you’re lucky you may even catch the local Kosaka summer festival which is right outside of the hotel. ”

“Staff is friendly. Room is big and clean. Onsen is simple but BBQ dinner variety is very good and fresh. Right in front of the lake. Value for money. I have a comfortable futon night. ”
