“Now for context I've stayed in at least 20 hotels last year+each and everyone has been good or great but this one really disappointed. Insially the smell of chlorine as you enter the expansive reception area was not very welcoming a very pungent. Rooms nice enough,spacious and actually clean. Biggest issue was the breakfast....now ok we were down at 9.40 (breakfast served till 10am) but having asked for scrambled egg and being told it wasn't available(???)yet each of us were given a fried egg? Surely the chef could scramble said eggs;is this not what culinary school is for??? There were only 4 other people in the whole breakfast room not like they were run of their feet? The rest of the fry was so over cooked and leathery it was embarrassing.I appreciate it's the end of the breakfast serving but really?? Heard good things about the McWilliam and was really looking forward to my stay but I'd defo not eat there again.”

“Stayed two nights in the hotel. From the booking to leaving was poo. Booking girl at the deck don't now where or how to find the booking. The booking was down for the wrong day . Room was small stuff and smell of damp. No tea or coffee in the room not even a glass in the bathroom to rinse your teeth. The tap in the sink running all the time would not turn off. The shower head leaking water running out all over the place. Asked to have the room cleaned after the first night wasn't done only two new towels replaced no bins emptied. Breakfast was ok but you need to update your staff on how to take orders and serve customer. On the Saturday night a lot of music it was on till 2 o'clock in the morning . On check out the poor girl had got a clue what to do. The hole place needs to have a good at its self building in and outside staff well been and training. Sorry will not be back or recommend to anyone. ”
