“The first room we were given lacked cleanliness, had no hot water and was infested with ants. After complaining to the reception staff, who were very obliging but spoke very little English, we were given a much nicer room in a more salubrious part of the hotel. The hotel is well situated but unfortunately is very down at heel due to lack of maintenance. Breakfast was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful and despite a few grumbles we enjoyed our stay.”
