“Very nice hotel and breakfast but at dinner, Tykes is really quite poor food. You also have to walk outside the hotel to reach the restaurant, which is not good in rain, or in winter. No other facilities but very clean and staff great.”

It's about 20 minute walk to York Minster along a fairly busy road, but the room itself was pretty quiet, even though it was street-facing. . Everything is online from check-in to airconditioning, which is very convenient. I did miss speaking to a human, though. The only staff I saw were staff cleaning rooms at the end of my stay, but they were friendly. ”
