“Somewhere between Agoda and Briery Wood they managed to lose our booking of a family room as we were 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel said the booking came from Booking.com not Agoda and only had 2 adults in a double room. Lucky I had the booking and invoice on my phone to show them what we had booked and they gave us another double room which they made into a twin. As mentioned I dont know if this was the booking agent or the hotels problem, the only thing I do think is the man on reception shouldn't have really said aloud to us that for what we paid we shouldn't really be getting 2 rooms with breakfast.”

“Overall, my stay at Hotel Low Wood Bay was pleasant. The staff were fantastic and accommodating, and the hotel is pet-friendly, which is a big plus for dog owners. However, I was disappointed to find out that there's an additional £30 charge per night per dog, which feels excessive compared to other hotels. Additionally, considering the hotel's location, having a car is essential, yet guests are charged £12 for parking. While I enjoyed my stay, these additional charges left a somewhat sour taste. ”

“Lovely Authentic accommodation, comfy bed, beautiful views of surrounding fells, great meals , pleasant and helpful staff. Quiet area with fantastic walks nearby.”

“very pretty location and good place to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of the city. Food was ok but bacon had been left to long in the ban mari and was unedible for breakfast. Staff were friendly and welcoming.”
