“Stayed 1 night, we upgraded from standard and had nice king size room, hotel on 2 floors, we were on 2nd floor , had view over the car park but really quiet. Our double room seemed set up for single guest, as only 2 coffee bags on the room tray, no spoons, only 1 glass ( hotel quickly sorted it all) and in bathroom we managed with the 1 bath towel & 1 hand towel . We should really have informed the hotel that the sofa in room not fit for purpose as couldn't sit on it comfortably, it was a sofa bed and the back cushions didnt seem secure and the 2 seat cushions kept moving forward ... the hotel itself is in quiet area, our evening restaurant meal was good and our breakfast was ok. ”

“Booked this place for a couple of nights to attend a wedding in nearby Warwick. Absolutely fine for the few days, very basic but for the price not bad at all. Was missing an iron but again not too much of an issue. The staff were very friendly and especially the lady working during the day. Location was alright but obviously food options are limited to the overpriced stuff in the neighbouring service station. If I had wanted to I’m sure I could have driven out to a bigger shop but opted to bite the bullet. The nearest taxi company is 10 miles away in Leamington which caused a bit of a dispute when we cancelled it 10/15 mins prior to the pickup time and the driver showed up wanting a fee (they wanted £25 when Uber was £15 for a 15 minute journey) however the lady behind the desk was very supportive during the discussion and helped to resolve it with a calm and collected manner. I would say if you stay here and need a taxi Uber is fairly reliable but give yourself plenty of time to get one otherwise you will be charged a lot by local firms. The room was clean, all toiletries present plus the usual tea/coffee. As somebody who travels for work a lot it would get a bit rough staying frequently or for more than a couple of nights but for a place to crash (certainly after a few drinks) this place is more than sufficient. ”

“We stayed on a Sunday night and found the location and grounds to be lovely. The staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming. Initially, we considered dining at the hotel; however, we were deterred by the prices and the quality of the menu we encountered. Instead, we chose to eat out in the village, which was just two miles away, and the meal was excellent. Our room was standard but very nice and comfortable. However, we felt that more could have been done to brighten up and tidy both the interior and exterior of the hotel. After our meal outside the hotel, we had a drink in the bar, but the prices were excessive—£17 for a Baileys and a cider! In the morning, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast, which was a highlight of our stay. We then decided to use the spa, only to find out that there was an additional charge of £10 each. The gym equipment was quite poor and barely functional, with weights that seemed to be from the 1940s. I didn’t spend much time in the gym and headed to the pool, which was quite loud due to the number of children present. In my opinion, it didn't provide the tranquil atmosphere expected from a spa. The pool and its surrounding area appeared old and in need of refreshing, and the floor was slippery, which was concerning. I was genuinely disappointed, especially since we had to pay for the spa access. Despite overlooking many issues due to the beautiful surroundings, I would consider staying there again; however, I wouldn’t use the spa, purchase excessive drinks, or dine at the hotel.”

“Unfortunately check in was tricky as the first room we tried had someone in it and the second one was not cleaned yet. The lady offered us a courtesy drink; would have been good to have a reduced rate, but she said she couldn’t do that. Parking is extra which is frustrating. Okay sleep once finally settled. ”
