“Stayed here for two nights, staff were amazing. No noise from the pub, bed was ok, good power shower has a ceiling fan that can be changed high low or off but was not powerful enough to cool the room down, no bin in the room and a small fridge would have been good to keep water and or milk cold. Would stay again if coming to Ryde location is perfect close to everything and in the middle. Thanks for the stay ”

“Woken on the first night by a beeping fire alarm (a status beep not an alarm beep). Hotel is not attended to overnight so could not do anthing about it. However they did sort it out the next day.”

“Not an amazing hotel, but perfectly acceptable, clean, some decor a little old fashioned but not tatty. Harry's bar is in the Good Beer Guide and has decent real ales. Breakfast is always included. Staff were nice and helpful despite the usual buffet chaos in most hotels. Happily hot breakfasts are served to order and were good quality. Showers warm and worked well and clean..”

“The room was huge, staff was helpful, upkeep and cleanliness needs to be covered, the toilets do not have locks, so works for a family but group of friends or colleagues may need to adjust.”

“Room very clean and tidy. Bed excellent a double even though twin beds requested. Extremely draughty through old windows in need of urgent replacement. Hot water minimal and didn't live up to warning signs in bathroom .. this did improove nearer the weeken for an unknown reason. Perhaps number of guests increased. Atmosphere in and around bar almost negligible perhaps the cold draughts through old windows assisted . It was a very windy stormy period during our stay. Very disappointed wirh stay in a building that has a long interesting history. Spoilt I felt with the degree , or lack of, external and internal maintainance”
