“Comfortable bed, good breakfast with espresso/cappuccino/latte machine. Going through a renovation of the hotel, much needed but they are making the best of it. Room was comfortable, new carpet, bay view with open window to enjoy the breeze. It is an older room which needs renovation but was clean. ”

“Hotel is literally across from the railway station and the ferry port, so great if you're not driving and for island hopping. Room was large with everything you need, including bath robes and comfortable beds. If we were staying again I'd book a sea view as our view was of adjacent buildings. Staff were welcoming on arrival and the the host in the dining room was a lovely man. ”

“Good hotel very central ”

“Very nice hotel in a good location. Very friendly and efficient staff. Bedroom was rather small but cosy and with stunning views. The bar also had these views and we enjoyed having a pre dinner drink in there. The restaurant was also very good and we enjoyed the breakfast; it had a lot of different but delicious choice.”

“The location of Corran guesthouse is great, close to the shops, council car parking provide free over-night parking. Shared Kictchen with good facilities. But the hot water supply by shower is inconsistent, sometimes too hot sometimes too cold. ”

“Ample parking Walkable to town Great rooms”

“And "stuck in time" stands for the old-fashioned breakfast and the bizarre rules like the fixed moment of your breakfast and a deposit for a nightkey. On Agoda they offer a room with a view, my room had a view at the wall from the cathedral on the opposite side of the street. Luckily the staff is very friendly and in case of a problem, a solution will be found. The view from the bar was splendid.”
