Being right in the heart of the town centre means you are steps away from all the bars and venues, saving you a fortune on late-night taxis. ​The Room & Stay ​The hotel itself is perfectly fine for a short stay. It’s clean, tidy, and the bed is genuinely comfortable—exactly what you need to crash into after a busy evening. ​The Check-In Process ​My main gripe is the check-in queue. Despite check-in being a standardised 15:00, the hotel only ever seems to have one member of staff working the front desk. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that scheduling a second person during peak arrival hours would solve this. Expect a bit of a wait when you first arrive. ​Late-Night Access ​A heads-up if you are returning late: the front doors will be locked. While there is a security guard on duty to let you in, they seemed highly annoyed and surly about actually having to get up and unlock the door. It makes coming back feel like an inconvenience rather than a standard return to your paid room. ​The Verdict ​The Good: Unbeatable central location, clean rooms, comfortable beds. ​The Bad: Slow, understaffed afternoon check-in and a grumpy late-night welcome. ​Overall, it's an agreeable stay and highly practical for a night on the town—just be prepared to pack a little patience at the front desk.”

“Good location and friendly staff. BUT bed was uncomfortable, no drinking water provided in room and sign in bathroom saying do not drink, and lastly breakfast did not start until 0800.”

“V v clean and good room with comfy beds and pillows. Only thing was heated by oil radiator .. in room heater didn’t work and so room wasn’t quite warm enough! Decent breakfast but let down badly by the juice, sooo watered down., really quite unpleasant. ”

“Hotel room very clean and warm.Woke up to slightly noisy traffic at 5.30 but wasn't too bad. Traffic noise stopped shortly after. Could not get tv to work but we were not bothered. Mentioned it on checking out and they said that I should have told them and they would have moved me into another room.”
