“Staff were very accommodating. I would book direct with the hotel in future and not with Agoda as repeated emails from me were ignored. ”

“Room was ok but still think it was expensive for what it was . I also realise it was a pub hotel but we were given a room above the passage way so were not only woken early on Saturday due to the market setting up but also kept awake on Saturday night by customers drinking outside until late . We returned after midnight as well. Don’t think it’s good enough to just leave earplugs . Even with the window closed it was noisy and it was then stuffy in the room . Having said all that, I’m sure a room in the main body of the hotel would’ve been fine but this room wasn’t . ”

“Found a lovely b &b good location 5 minutes from station and next to a pretty bridge and pathway. Clean ,modern and very comfortable with a nicely cooked English breakfast. ”

“We needed a place to stay after a wedding and the motel-style room that was accessed via the car park had all the basics. Bed comfy. En-suite could do with updating; there was a faint smell of mildew, although it was clean. Staff pleasant and breakfast decent. ”
