“Very nice stay. Walking distance to the Livingston Designer Outlet Centre via 2 retail parks, about 10 minute walk. We had dinner and breakfast at the Chain Runner pub and found the meals to be very good quality and in a nice cosy atmosphere. The room was very good, clean with coffee and tea making facilities. Would stay again.”

“Lovely quiet setting, well maintained garden, rooms very comfortable with wonderful bedding, a proper coffee maker and lots of storage space. However the most ridiculously difficult way to get in while standing in the rain. Took us an hour at least while internet cuts in and out to fill out another form on line as well as pay another refundable $150 deposit for ?? When we finally got in another couple started ringing the bell at the door to get in so they also had the same trouble. Also advertised a bistro I think they called it but is closed on Mondays so we had to find food elsewhere. No one on site to help other than a phone number to call and they couldn’t help from where they were located. I would have given 5 stars for the lovely place had the entry been less convoluted. ”
