“good rooms ,very comfortable night ,great breakfast, I felt the leisure spa facilities should be included in the price of the room and not an extra charge able rate per quest {considering there was cheaper hotels in the area}”

“These hotels are going to be the same where-ever you are, intended for brief functional stays. This one is in good condition and the room was clean and comfortable, but the shower tap was very stiff and the desk light did not work. The food options were "fuel" rather than anything that had love in it - luckily the food pub across the car park had a good carvery. The bar had no English beer. The staff were super helpful and friendly and loved our dog! They made our stay! I hope they are well paid.”

“Sadly, we needed a room local to our family due to a funeral, after spending a few hours hunting for a hotel we managed to book into the Travel Lodge at Thorpe on the Hill, all done at very short notice. The room was clean, the staff were great, and we had a great night's sleep in comfy, clean beds, definitely a happy customer.”

“The only problem I had was the ppl next door were so loud till about 2am then it started again around 6.30am. The walls are not very sound proff”

“Friendly staff, Our room (210) was on the ground floor very close to the reception desk and fronting the car park and busy dual carriageway. W immediately e asked to be moved to a quieter room but were advised they were full. The room and ensuite were generous in size and the bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee is provided. As we had guessed, the room was noisy up until 10pm and again at 5am. Our shower leaked so it only dribbled out (we reported this) Overall, a convenient and cost effective stop over. Ask for a quiet room on booking (rooms at the back of the hotel)”
