“Visiting Grandson, this was the closest accommodation to him. Great Location. Shops Opposite and the main road to go everywhere in Lincoln. B&B has great car parking just outside B&B. Large Dining room ground floor. Nice Breakfast (Full English). Rooms nice size with ensuite Bathroom - Shower nice. Helpful staff. Free WIFI - Just Very Nice. We were in and out all the time - no problems. Could it be cheaper, yes - but location is great for us. ”

“I attend an annual RAF reunion in Lincoln and booking digs presents issues with cost and location close to the venue. The Swan Guesthouse ticked all my boxes for my trip away, All I required is an ensuite room, clean comfy bed, tea making facilities, TV. It was close to the venue and train station, and the price was not extortionate. My only criticism, and it is a very minor one is that the décor of the room could do with freshening up. I would use again and recommend it.”

“Couldn't be better positioned - right next to castle and short walk from Minister. We got a a pair of double rooms with a bathroom - very useful travelling with an older child. Decor basic, but decent sized spaces. Light sleepers might find it noisy with windows open, due to pub and restaurant nearby, but it was all quiet by midnight. ”

“Stayed here for a gig at Lincoln Castle and it was perfect for that. The breakfast is great and the food in the bar tastes excellent for the price, particularly the burger and beer offer. The cozy double is a little on the small side, and the bed is a bit small if you're used to a king size. If the weather is, or has been hot then the rooms do get very warm and they dont have Aircon in the older parts of the building. That coupled with restricted window openings (for safety and security) made our room quite stuffy. That being said, we had a beautiful view of the front of the cathedral and the room was well decorated and equipped. The staff were amazing and responsive to any needs, from check in, to breakfast and check out. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay but would say that if you don't like the heat, book an air conditioned room, or visit when the weather is likely to be cooler. I would definitely stay again, especially as it cost me the same price as a ***!”
