“Clean hotel in a great location. First the pluses. Friendly receptionist. Parking right outside the hotel payable at check in £8 from 3pm till noon next day. Freshly renovated room with a great hot water shower on the top floor. Nice view over the sea. Please be careful when booking a room for one person as the bed is microscopic for a kid not adults. That’s the minus. Ear plugs, don’t forget as the noise from the corridor is loudly noticeable. ”

“I cancelled my booking 7 days before the check-in, never been refunded, on the top of that looks like they didn't even realise I wasn't their guest. Such a disgrace , makes you wonder how the hell some people are still having their jobs. This was the worst experience I had in 35 years of traveling in different countries. ”

“stayd for a borthday week and impressed by the staff professionalism and dog friendliness. Nice breakfast and a lovely period hotel. We a quiet room in the eaves with side views to the sea. Loved the VIP book at reception (a photo album of Very Impostant Pets!). Would stay again.”

“Yes they do tell you there is no lift but it's hidden away . We arrived on a very hot day - I'm in my 80's and fairly fit but carrying suitcases and our wedding clothes up to the 3rd floor is no joke and no help offered by staff . Room was ok but no usb sockets . TV connected by wifi ( somewhat flaky at 0830) so no live channels unless you go via the BBC /ITV app . Shower didn't work due to lack of water at busy times . Breakfast , the service came with a smile and a cherry good morning but one day is was over done the following day was much better but a different number of sausages . No sign of a continental breakfast and after all it is the London and PARIS hotel :-( The décor in the room was well done and the Executive Suite was a generous size with it's own mini balcony . Only chose the hotel because of it's location and walking distance to the Lighthouse / harbour but wouldn't go there again ”
