“Only reason I wouldn't recommend, is due to very noisy guests. Had asked for a quiet room, and placed in courtyard which was fine. However, as this was a downstairs room, when the very rowdy guests who were staying in the room above came back, there is NO soundproofing, and they were incredibly noisy banging and clattering, no chance to sleep at that point. You could literally hear everything including conversations. Breakfast was good and staff were lovely but would not stay here a second time. Topsham has very limited parking, but the high street has some great independent shops.”

“This was our 2nd stay at The St George and Dragon. Unfortunately both stays were to attend funerals however that didn’t detract from a very comfortable night away from home. It is extremely nice very easy parking which is a bonus…lovely surroundings very pleasant staff. Plus a very very nice Full English breakfast good sized portions next morning which set us up for the day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future!”
