“The biggest issue with our twin bedroom was the low timber beams on the ceiling and low height in the door and in the shower. My husband coulnt stand up in the shower and neither of us could move in it as it was very narrow. The wooden beams on the already low ceiling meant my husband kept banging his head. The breakfast although seemingly individually cooked was luke warm and so was the coffee. ”

“Great guesthouse near the beach and short walk to town centre and pier. Loved the well appointed room and the exceptional breakfast. ”

“Another wonderful stay at the Ravilious. Great location, beautiful and tasteful decoration. Owners are lovely and always ready for a chat . Chris does the loveliest breakfast and his scrambled eggs are the best I’ve had . Highly recommend the Ravilious”

“wasnt expecting much but this was just a stop to break our journey. The owner was pleasant and helpful offering places to eat. Room was compact but had everything you need including packs of sweets and tea tray and water was a welcome sight. Having a clock on the bedside cabinet was a nice addition. Breakfast was amazing and had choices we had not seen in 7 days of travelling and staying elsewhere. We would stay again if in that area but would try for a larger room. ”

“The only unsatisfactory feature is the shower in the twin bed room. There is not a complete partition between the shower and the rest of the bathroom so it is impossible to keep the bathroom floor dry.”

“Stayed in a single room which was clean, inviting and nicely decorated. Was greeted by friendly gent who was happy to assist with directions. Limited amount of liquid soap/shampoo/cond so if you have long hair being your own. You’ll also need to bring your own hairdryer and iron. Breakfast was tasty and nicely served if somewhat rushed. Would stay again. ”
