“This is a modern hotel that has catered work space and relaxation space for the youngsters and play space for the children. A slight downside is that certain colour schemes make the room a bit dim for the elderly. ”

“The room was pretty clean and tidy. However, stairs were steep and dangerous, and there is no lift. These people close at 9pm, so not sure how anyone wanting to check in after 9pm is dealt with.We were given a room on second floor with old steep victorian style stairs Also, there is no dedicated car park. The nearest car park is paid and is about 5min walk away. The room however is clean and staff are friendly. I will not recommend this place if you are travelling with family. However, as a solo traveller, it is alright.”

“I would recommend the George and dragon to anyone looking for a good priced basic hotel with free parking . We arrived early and parked up and they were fine with us leaving the car there a few hours after check out. The town ctr is only 5 minutes walk away. The room was spacious clean and warm . Bathroom nice. There was a fan and if you get too hot just turn the radiator off . Downstairs there’s a pool table and you can buy snacks . Didn’t have the breakfast . Found the staff friendly and helpful . Would book here again next time in Chester . ”
