“Frequently visited the Royal Hotel for food and drinks, the beer garden is amazing. First time actually staying at the hotel and just for one night. Maybe slightly dated rooms but very comfortable, tea, coffee, hairdryer etc. lovely and warm, comfy beds, we would absolutely stay again. ”

“Our stay was very enjoyable. The bedroom was warm, comfortable & we'll equipped. We were a little disappointed at check-in, as the whole hotel smelt of cooking. The kitchen was open to reception which seemed to be the cause. However by the evening the air had cleared. I also think that the hotel should negotiate some parking spaces at the station car park, rather than leave guest to sort this out for themselves. ”
