“This is a wonderful little hotel in the village of Arnside. There are 20 rooms, all named after local places and on different floors. We had 3 rooms on different levels, with different types of views (the ones around Lakeland had the best views). The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped - and very British. Given the age of the building, the rooms are not sound proof but given the majority of clientele are probably hikers looking for an early night, this wasn't an issue. There are apparently dog-friendly rooms too, which is good to know. Dinner and breakfast were both lovely and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.”
