“We had a lovely short stay here. The room was well decorated, clean, and comfortable - the comfiest bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. The breakfast was included for us and was also superb. Every member of staff that we spoke to was kind and well trained. ”

“Highly recommend this hotel to group of people. The hotel manager try to arrange early check in for us due as we reach hotel early. ”

“The hotel, location and staff were fine or better but the negative outweigh the positives. The room we had was noisy all night sounded like trucks going down hill all night, the parking is less than convenient and is first come first served @25 pounds per night is expensive but the nearest option is free between 21:00 and 07:00 3.50 pounds on average nearby between other hours so they are taking advantage unless you have a disability card then your in luck just around the corner is free disabled parking. The breakfast is continental only and overpriced, my suggestion is exit the hotel turn left go through the old gate and cross the road to Wetherspoon for breakfast but not for dinner the steak pie was rubbish. Overall if your on a budget there are better options if your happy paying the premium the hotel is nice and comfortable ”

“The sweet lady at reception allowed us early checked In.... Which is so much appreciated as we had been a long journey bus the night before. We had a room that fit 4 of us, a queen bed and 2 single bed, ensuite bathroom. Breakfast are great. The only downside is they only have 1 iron and we requested it a day before, till next day morning still unable to get cause 1 of the guest have not returned it! No Lift so just get an Armstrong man to help carry luggage 😅”

“This is a quaint stay in a building dating back to the 1700's. Two plusses: short walk to the center of town and they provide parking, which is hard to find. Note that most of the rooms are on the 2nd floor, which is a walk up the stairs, so this might be an accessibility issue. There is no air conditioning (anywhere in Caterbury) so keep this in mind when the temperature soars. Breakfast was bare bones, with some cereal and fruit. My biggest concert was accessibility to attractions and parking and this site fit the bill.”

“We booked here last minute to get a head start to go to Le Shuttle. The Canterbury Hotel is old school and once you accept that, it is very good value. The room was clean the bed was comfy the breakfast was amazing at this price point. Had a pleasant evening having a meal wandering around the Cathedral and a 15 mins walk back. Would I want to say a week No. But for a one night stopover really good only negative for some No Lift”
