This is a quaint stay in a building dating back to the 1700's. Two plusses: short walk to the center of town and they provide parking, which is hard to find. Note that most of the rooms are on the 2nd floor, which is a walk up the stairs, so this might be an accessibility issue. There is no air conditioning (anywhere in Caterbury) so keep this in mind when the temperature soars. Breakfast was bare bones, with some cereal and fruit. My biggest concert was accessibility to attractions and parking and this site fit the bill.

Notes from room #3 Door has a cat park... enough for about 12 cars. Seems like the whole time we were there all dots were taken... we just got lucky. Room #3 runs at a bit of an angle... the whole room is sloped tword the inside corner... floor, bed... everything. Bath room is fine, but the shower room is easy to shallow. Had a rain shower head (which I personally hate) . All the bathroom shelf like the room had a sloped down... I was concerned to put anything on them. Breakfast was simple but good. Staff offered to make done white out brown toast. There was canned fruit, cereal and some other typical continental choices. The location is great, you can walk to the cathedral and center of town in a few minutes.

Stayed one night with family. The room was clean, spacious, light and comfortable. However the decor was outdated and in need of a refurbishment. The bathroom was lovely but the shower had no pressure. Continental breakfast was basic but good quality.

A beautiful place to spend time in Canterbury. The rooms are lovely, well appointed and very spacious. It has a grand feel about it. The location allows for a very easy walk into the cathedral and old city. The property has a very good selection of breakfast foods on offer. We would definitely recommend staying at this place.

Had a nice stay here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice at the included buffet breakfast and tea/coffee/biscuits in the room. Close to the city, castle and city wall. Canterbury East station is fairly close and walkable with a no-stairs route.
