“This place was a surprise, our first time at a Premier Inn. It was busy at the center and hotels were full so we lucked out in getting a room here. Spacious room, comfortable bed, clean and more than enough for our needs. All the staff were wonderful, from the manager to reception, kitchen and housekeeping. Special mention to Saritha who went above and beyond (and always with a smile!) and to Tracy who was so nice to let us wait in the restaurant even when it was close. Definitely staying here again when we're in Cambridge. ”

“The location is superb, in a quiet area and very close to main attractions. But the service is zero. I'm travelling with my aunt, we booked twins bed but were provided with a double bed after we checked-in around 5pm. We felt tired after a day's walk so we didn't request for a room change bus just requiring one more quilt for us since there was only one quilt on the doubt bed. When check-in, we were told there's no telephone to communicate with reception, anything needed just scan the QRcode and send message via whatsapp. So we did and waited with patience for 3 hours. In between the time I requested several times in whatsapp for the additional quilt but only the robot responsed no human attended. I had no other choice but only to go out of our room heading downstairs to find any human at reception. Though finally I got one more quilt from the receptionist, but the experience was really frustrating. The reception staff blamed Agoda information was wrong, saying there was no twins bed in such kind of room and told me that he didn't notice any massage requests. I'll say the service quality is essential to hotel and tourist industry, obviously a chatting robot is not capable to reach the standard so far. And the “no-one-notice” scenario to robot message was not just a coincidence, before the quilt issue happened, it already turned out no human was taking care of the whatsapp robot when we sending message asking for 2 cups to our room, which were supposed to be prepared in advance. ”

“I booked this for its excellent location near the train station, and the good reviews at a reasonable price. I failed to understand that this is utterly self-service - no staff are at the property - and this brings deficiencies to the experience. The door to the room was very hard to open -- it is of flimsy quality, cheap rough lock that is not appropriate for a commercial setting. The room was immaculate (a big advantage!) but very small:; fine for 1 person, cramped for 2. This guest house is really an AirBnb set-up, not a true "Guest House" where there are resident managers. Everything is handled through messaging via your phone, they did respond promptly when I couldn't get the door lock to shut. I could hear absolutely everything going on in the room next door. I will return for an overnight for its ease of use to get to the hospital, but I would not want to stay here as a tourist experience.”
