“Excellent from start to finish. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff can't do enough. From check in to check out our experience has been 10/10. ( I didn't get the ladies name who checked us in but she was so accommodating and friendly, certainly made us feel so welcome) Our room was beautiful 303. Little walk through the hotel but it's quirky decor was beautiful. Beds so comfortable and the little added extras, robes slippers, shower gels. Breakfast was superb. Everything you could want from continental to full English.. again staff were amazing and very accommodating, the young lad at breakfast ( again didn't get his name, but if it helps supported Man utd, was super sweet and felt he went the extra mile). And finally ....the spa...wow , wow this was just amazing. Always managed to get a cosy seat to relax ( not sure if this was due to the time of year) but this again is what made our weekend spectacular. Our whole experience has been fantastic. We will certainly return. So pleased we have found such a lovely little gem.”

“We had a small double room with a nice view. Nick was very welcoming. It was great to be able to park the car and take a very short walk into Ambleside. It was perfect for our one night stay with a good choice of breakfast which was included.”
