“Excellent location, Hall and grounds very well kept. I stayed for a wedding and the only only complaint I have is that twice I was charged a £5 concession for breakfast, the money didn't matter at all but considering what my hosts had spent overall I thought this was unnecessary. otherwise a lovely stay.”

“Exceptionally dog friendly, provided a dog bed, bowls and in the pub a dog menu. Our dog had scrambled egg, and loved it. The room was good and so close to the main pub. Only criticism is the bathroom had no window so needed better ventilation, however the shower was fantastic, and masses of hot water. Very good place to stay, so close to the beach and everyone was really friendly. Would return again”

“This is a smashing place to spend a few days. We were in the smallest accommodation (which is bijou!) but it had everything we needed. Staff at the Hall and the Joiners were very friendly and helpful. The meals at the Joiners are very good (we have been going there for years), and breakfast was delicious, with a nice range of options. I do think it is a little expensive for the accommodation. My only recommendation would be to make the little gardens enclosed - we would have loved to leave the door open and let our dog in and out/ enjoy the birdsong etc but he was escaping between the trees!”
