Excellent location, Hall and grounds very well kept. I stayed for a wedding and the only only complaint I have is that twice I was charged a £5 concession for breakfast, the money didn't matter at all but considering what my hosts had spent overall I thought this was unnecessary. otherwise a lovely stay.

Newton Hall

Situated in lovely grounds, stayed in one of the cosy garden rooms (excellent). Breakfast good & would definitely recommend it to family & friends.

Anniversary trip

We stayed for 2 nights in the room nearest the breakfast room and we were woken each morning at 6:30 am by loud workers night shift and chef, my husband went and politely asked them to keep their voices down on the first morning and we were reassured that they would be considerate the following morning which they were not ! Fuming . Also the bath in the room was dirty and we had to clean before it could be used , shame as the hotel has the potential to be fab if only staff were considerate of guests and cleaning was improved
