“Pool was really cold and extremely shallow...Decided to return to my room and just have a warm bath..... The hot tub was out of service during my stay. The rooms were okay for the price paid. Staff was descent as well. ”

“This place was spotless but it needs work, not just updating cosmetically. The room needed complete reno. Staff was excellent. Beds very comfortable had a good night sleep, very clean bathroom.”

“Good location. Close to everything. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. ”

“The hotel was good quality for the value. Staff was very helpful.”

“We had to find a location near Lindsay Ontario to attend a grandchild's birthday and with limited choices in this area, the Fairchild in Orillia was an exceptional choice. The hotel employees go above and beyond to accomodate your needs and the property is exceptionally maintained. The hotel has an excellent location with a Galaxy movie theatre next door and a wide variety of shopping and restaurant options including name brand grocery stores and Costco. This is a must stay for families or business travelers.”

“The overall experience was just fantastic without any hiccups. However the issue I faced was the security deposit I had to put down, which wasn’t mentioned on the Agoda website. Staff was friendly enough, but they could have equipped the system with a contactless /mobile payment option, as carrying a physical card is sometimes not feasible for everyone.”

“Small motel-style set up but the rooms have been renovated (bathrooms too) and it is a really great value if you need to spend a couple days in Orillia. No local TV so bring a firestick or roku and hdmi to hook up to the TV. Will definitely stay here again. ”
