“There are always a few hiccups with each stay. But it is also the only hotel left in Whitehorse where a room is under $***/night. This time the phone had no cord and the thermostat was dead, so the room was a little cool for winter, but was warmed from the floor below. Take note that the parking lot isn't cleared in winter and is a mobility challenge for everyone. ”

“I arrived with one of my older children, and very pregnant with twins. We had booked a queen room but when I asked for a first floor room the lady at the front desk graciously upgraded us to an accessible king bedroom. The accessible room was much nicer for someone in my current state. I can see that the hallways/fire doors could be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair or with a walker but the room itself and the washroom were nice and included a shower bench and a shower seat. If you are visiting as tourists, we love the Edgewater for its central downtown location as you can walk to the Yukon River (right outside) and many dining options, and tourism stops. ”
