“I stayed three nights. I arrived early and asked for a high floor. the lady at first agreed to give me one on the 4th when it ws ready. but when I came back and check one and half hour later, they said they only had the one one the second floor, which is the lowest they have. what a disappointment! but other than that, everything was great. I bet it offers the vest lake view in town. the sleeping giant is right in front. two of the mornings there was gorgeous subrise. it wss sureal. I totally enjoyed in my room. this hotel has the best location. it sits right next to the bus terminal. the bus system is quite good in thunder bay Btw. the water front is right across the bridge. there were junkies hanging around. but they did not cause any problems. I can only blame it on the Liberals. NDP could have been worse. The construction in the surrounding area was wrapping up. the room is super spacious, and looks clean. before I came, I read a lot of negative reviews about the cleanness and was reluctant. but I found out it was not bad at all. the restaurant opens from 7:30am to 8pm. on thanksgiving when anywhere else was closed, it still opened for breakfast and lunch. I really love this historical building. She is more than 110 years old. imagine overlooking thunder bay for 110years! ”
