“The room was big and decently clean and it accommodated our family well. The location was excellent and convenient. However, do remember to ask the receptionist for the toothbrush once you check in because the receptionist leaves by 9pm. ”

“The room was basic but reasonably appointed and spotlessly clean. We had a disabled access room which we would not have preferred, but we booked only a few days ahead and may have got the last room. Quiet and warm in chilly Ballarat. We had an adjoining door to our son and daughter-in-law’s room next door which was good. Good value for money.”

“The staff were friendly and hotel was in the heart of town. Parking is limited at $10/day. But lots of public parking available. Rooms are dated but very quaint and nostalgic. Check in and out was fuss free too. Good value for money. ”

“We booked at the last minute and got a very good price for a double room, we arrived late but had phoned ahead about it and the staff were friendly and hospitable. The room was small but very nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was a good size and the shower was great. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and had the nicest smell as you enter the reception hallway. I would stay here again.”

“We stayed in Ballarat for 2 weekends in a row and stayed here twice. Different rooms each stay. Rooms are well equipped and have everything you need. Walking distance to the theatre and restaurants we were attending while staying in Ballarat. Only thing to not is Saturday nights can be quite noisy with the patrons at the pub and local venues. We took ear plugs for our 2nd weekend and that fixed the noise issue. Other then that we recommend this lovely hotel.”
