“The room was big and decently clean and it accommodated our family well. The location was excellent and convenient. However, do remember to ask the receptionist for the toothbrush once you check in because the receptionist leaves by 9pm. ”

“I had a great stay overall. The room was large, spacious, and relatively clean, which made it comfortable. I especially appreciated having a kitchenette with a full-sized fridge - it was really convenient. The hotel was also pretty quiet, and the location was excellent, with easy walking access to the town centre. However, the lack of staff presence was a noticeable downside. Reception was rarely open, and aside from cleaners, there was little to no one around. As a solo female traveller, this did make the place feel somewhat isolating and less secure than I would have liked. While I didn't encounter any actual problems, the limited support and absence of onsite staff may be a concern for some guests.”

“Stayed 4 nights. Easy after hours check-in. Great location during summer with complimentary access to the public outdoor aquatic centre next door. Also a minute walk to the Eureka Centre. Other attractions easily accessible and close by car so it was a good base for a Ballarat stay. Great games room with a big screen tv, lounge, pool table, table tennis and other things. Good cabin with basic essentials all provided, both for the bathroom and kitchen. Comfortable beds and bedding.”

THANK YOU SHEILA !🙏 My room and bathroom was huge very clean but dated. My bed was comfortable and bathroom amenities supplied were good. I chose the Mecure for a few reasons. 1. It was walking distance to Sovereign Hill which I visited (luggage was stored safely for me the following day ) 2. I wanted to attend the day spa 'Sanctuary' bookings required and it's very popular so book in advance. My treatment was divine, thank you Mia and I booked the extra for the Hyrdopool and sauna. Tranquil setting and very clean. This is a separate business from the hotel but definitely enhances the facilities. 3. This Mecure offers beautiful views from the back deck of the restaurant looking over water with beautiful gardens. A nice place for relaxing 4. This property is resort style not hotel style offering a calm setting and spacious grounds. A little bit of walking is required. Overall a comfortable overnight stay. ”
